Bringing in more pit run and unloading.
Bringing in more pit run and unloading. The truck is 85,000 lbs. loaded. Later in the day the truck sank into the mud just off the driveway and got stuck. The driver hit the clutch too hard and the bolts holding transmission to engine broke. It apparently did over $5,000 damage to the transmission and related parts. They finished filling in the house site with a smaller truck.

Another view of the trees. This one next to our southern boundary fence. The neighbor's cow fence used to run through the house site and we took it down. The ranch to the south had to put up a new fence on the property line.
Looking east from the house you can see the next hills across a valley.
